Tax Analyst

Description We are in search of a meticulous Tax Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is in the industry and it requires the individual to perform comprehensive payroll tax operations. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities Accurately perform administrative tasks related to payroll tax work which are not limited to data entry but also require critical thinking. Ensure compliance with tax jurisdictions by diligently working through with agencies to achieve the necessary requirements. Apply your knowledge of Auditing, Payroll Taxes, Account Reconciliation, UKG Pro, and Microsoft Excel to effectively manage and fulfill job responsibilities. Ensure all required information is obtained and processed to maintain accurate payroll records. Address and resolve queries related to payroll tax in a timely and effective manner. Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables and perform vlookups as part of the role. Proactively monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. Efficiently process customer credit applications while ensuring accuracy. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records. Requirements Proficiency in Auditing with a focus on tax-related matters. Extensive experience with Payroll Taxes and related processes. Demonstrable skills in Account Reconciliation, particularly in a tax context. Familiarity with UKG Pro software for managing payroll and HR tasks. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
