We are building a culture where everyone can thrive by owning and driving exceptional results, being humble and leading with trust, serving our customers with excellence, and collaborating and coaching to win.Primary Purpose :Oversees the processes supporting the timely payment of NS service contracts, non-purchase order invoices, and multiple invoice interfaces approximating $9.5 billion annually.Principal Duties:
Monitors workflow associated with receiving and processing invoices and credit memos and assists to minimize invoice backlogs.
Handles inquiries from field personnel related to purchasing and accounting for purchased services or materials, which may require collaboration with Sourcing and/or other departments.
Leads, develops, coaches, and supervises a team of 2 direct reports.
Prepares accounts payable accrual analyses, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Manages accounts payable recovery audits and performs various reviews to prevent duplicate payments.
Performs monthly invoice lag analysis and contacts various business partners to understand invoicing delays and recommend solutions for timely processing.
Supports the month-end close process by performing variance analysis on assigned purchased service accounts.
Ensures accounts payable transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), corporate policy, documented internal controls, and other regulatory requirements.
Prepares KPIs and other metrics for distribution to upper management.
Collaborates with IT to resolve system issues and to perform user acceptance testing for system upgrades and enhancements.
Initiates and participates in various ad-hoc projects, including automation and process improvements.
Works with internal and external business partners to improve processes and procedures. Serves as the primary back-up for the Assistant Manager Accounts Payable.

Experience leading teams and/or supervising others.
Understands how Accounts Payable impacts the balance sheet and P&L, including typical general ledger account reconciliations and standard journal entries.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and dealing with queries directly with suppliers or other internal employees.
