Sr. Analyst Inventory Planning

Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement inventory strategies that maximize sales and inventory productivity for a merchandising category. Create accurate SKU forecasts, developing the inventory and replenishment strategy, managing parameters for each category to execute the replenishment strategy, achieving target in-stock levels and planned inventory turns, and developing recommendations to improve inventory productivity. Work with stores and field leadership to execute their category strategies. Participate in strategic process improvement initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness of the tools and processes utilized by the broader Supply Chain Organization. Create strategies and tactics that deliver financial objectives: sales, margin, turns; product transitions, flow and exit strategies; seasonal category and SKU strategies to both enter and exit season; and pricing and promotional activity. Achieve in-stock and turn targets. Coordinate needs across supply chain partners. Manage category to open-to-buy targets. Provide analysis to improve category performance. Build and maintain relationships with merchants, suppliers, stores, and supply chain partners. Train new associates. Contribute to cross functional project teams.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Management, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Security, Information Networking, Operations Research, Operations Research Analysis, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Experience in the following skills is required: SQL; HTML; Unix/Linux/Windows; Excel/Visual Basic; Microsoft 365.
