As we drive top quartile performance for the enterprise, staying focused on our Future of Finance strategy, it is crucial that we continue to ensure that we bring people along - through driving behavioral change across the function, including the upskilling, reskilling and owning our individual growth promise.In the Senior Director Finance and Strategy Capabilities role, you will be a member of the Global Finance and Strategy Capabilities & Integration team and help identify the journey our people and teams are in with a focus on the skills, knowledge and mindset they need to develop to drive our key strategic priorities.This requires that you bring strong business acumen and an understanding of talent and people development as part of a successful strategy design and execution. You will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of best-in-class financial and strategic capabilities across the organization and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for our global finance and strategy function.What you will do for usStrategic Leadership

Develop and execute on a comprehensive strategy for identifying and enhancing global finance and strategy capabilities that drive our performance

Engage with senior leadership to ensure alignment of capabilities strategy and focus with our Future of Finance strategy and imperative

Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging trends and best practices on capability development in finance and strategy, in partnership with HRSBP and Talent Lead

Conduct change impact assessments to build comprehensive solutions that drive meaningful behavior change.

Capabilities development

Identify and develop capabilities of focus and programs to build priority capabilities, in alignment and collaboration with the People Function - both at a functional and at an enterprise level, utilizing existing resources and processes

Measure impact and assess progress across the function - tailoring the offering accordingly and shaping the agenda as needed

Identify capabilities gaps and develop plans on how to approach those

Support efforts to create, scale, evolve experiential learning assets across the portfolio of capabilities for finance & strategy communities.

Create and maintain structured learning assets and programs necessary to promote capability offering across finance & strategy communities.

Establish a learning culture within the global C&C community by role modeling meaningful and intentional meetings, experiences, and curiosity

Stakeholder engagement

Orchestrate and manage routines with the OU champion network to elevate the impact local champions deliver to progress the change agenda.

Drive the work for the Capabilities Council ensuring our functional efforts are not only well represented but also shaping the enterprise agenda

Support governance forums and other routines with cross-functional stakeholders in our networked organization.

Project Management

Successfully manage the overall capabilities agenda for finance and strategy, with a focus on project management principles and pace

Proactively define, evolve, and maintain fit for purpose governance routines across finance and strategy communities to ensure the capabilities change agenda is prioritizing activities and sponsorship to drive impact and adoption.

Proactively define, evolve, and strengthen the impact local capability champions provide to amplify the integrated change agenda.

To qualify for the role you must have

5-10 years of professional working experience in people strategy development and execution - ideally in finance or operations teams.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience in finance or strategy functions, including operational roles.

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in finance and strategy and certainly in capabilities.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial and strategic initiatives.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.

Comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity to enable the individual to flex to the needs of key stakeholders to facilitate and adopt the change and culture change.
