The Sr. BI Engineer, Internal AI & Data Science Practice, will be responsible for developing automated, scalable, and client-facing dashboards.  We are looking for candidates with a proven history of developing BI dashboards, with strong proficiency in SQL, other programming languages in a Big Data environment, and data visualization tools.Provide technical leadership in a team that generates business insights based on big data, identify actionable recommendations, and communicate the findings to clientsOrganize and manage multiple business intelligence projects catering to diverse cross-functional stakeholdersWork collaboratively with Data Scientists, Data Engineer, Software Engineers and cross-functional partners to design and deploy Visa dashboards and related productsDevelop and maintain automated ETL pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, Python, or HIVE to support internal reporting and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.Expert with data visualization using Tableau, Power BI or similar toolsUtilize Visa's data analytics capabilities, technology, and industry expertise to develop, standardize, and implement a streamlined BI architectureParticipate in business requirements gathering, effort sizing, architecture planning and front-end designing of dashboardsStrong problem-solving capabilities and ability to quickly propose feasible solutions and effectively communicate strategy and risk mitigation approaches to leadership.Define and build technical/data documentation and experience with code version control systems (for e.g., git). Ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistencyWork with internal/external clients to understand their BI related requirements, and lead project scoping/design to provide solutions by leveraging Visa’s dataParticipate in business requirements gathering, effort sizing, architecture planning and front-end designing of dashboardsProvide operational monthly production supportCommunicate complex concepts and the results of the analyses in a clear and effective mannerThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
