Revenue Accountant

We are currently hiring an interim Revenue Accountant for a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Atlanta!Responsibilities:

Performing financial accounting functions related to revenue recognition and regulatory filings associated with revenues, and FAS158 pension analysis

Preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, preparation of financial reports, and providing detailed analysis of financial transactions and reesults to management

Revenue, pension, and tax transactions and reconciliations

Monthly accounting entries and related reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, FERC, & SEC

Various internal accounting and financial reports

Accounting research, information and assistance for special projects and data requests

Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Accounting - performing analysis on financial transactions

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA license is a plus

Strong knowledge of GAAP

Strong Excel skills
