job detailsjob summary:Our client in Atlanta, GA seeks a Proofpoint Server Engineer for a longterm engagement.location: ATLANTA, Georgiajob type: Contractsalary: $75 - 85 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: No Degree Requiredresponsibilities:Server Management:Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.Conduct routine system monitoring, maintenance, and backup operations to ensure optimal server performance.Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange servers, ensuring email system integrity, security, and availabilityProofpoint Administration:Administer and manage Proofpoint solutions, including Email Protection, Targeted Attack Protection, and other related modules.Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Proofpoint systems to ensure optimal performance and security.Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for Proofpoint systems.Email Security:Implement and manage email security policies and protocols to protect against phishing, malware, and other email-borne threats.Analyze email security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.Security Administration:Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.Technical Support and Troubleshooting:Provide advanced technical support for server and Proofpoint-related issues.Mentor and guide junior engineers and IT support staff.Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of server and Proofpoint configurations, procedures, and processes.Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.qualifications:
