Payroll Specialist

Description We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, your main role will be to manage payroll processes, handle inquiries related to payroll and maintain accurate employee records. This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process employee payrolls and ensure timely disbursement Proficiently utilize accounting software systems to streamline processes Handle inquiries and resolve issues pertaining to payroll Administer employee benefits such as 401k and RRSP Regularly audit payroll records to ensure compliance with regulations Manage multi-state payroll processing and ensure adherence to respective state laws Utilize Paylocity for efficient payroll management Carry out accounting functions such as accounts reconciliation and financial reporting Maintain accurate employee records, including time tracking using 'About Time' software Conduct benefit functions to ensure employee benefits are properly managed.
