Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Daily/Weekly Audit ReportsAudit tariff classifications for Home Depot’sbusiness units (The Home Depot, Your Other Warehouse, Home Decorators, & Crown Bolt) accurately and in a timely manner.
Research product information within Home Depot’ssystems and other publications to gain knowledge and understanding for avariety of skus.
Provide detailed feedback for classificationchanges and recommendations.
Constantly monitor and stay current with US Customsrules, regulations, and HTSUS updates.
Send weekly Excel reports and pivot tables to HomeDepot and Expeditors, recapping audit productivity and progress.
Project Management
Collaborate with Account Management, Compliance,and Home Depot’s Global Trade Services (GTS) team to kick start new projects,organize reports, and research ways to create more value-add services.
Example: PGA, Free Trade, Similar Sku Search, and ADD/CVD projects
Qualifications
- Integrity is paramount.
Self-starting, highly organized, and keen attention to detail.
Willing to thoroughly research Customs rulings, cases, and legal information.
Recent HTS Classification skills/experience preferred.
100% dedication to the Home Depot classification teamwork and process improvements.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Reports directly to the On-site Supervisor and Import Compliance Manager.
Permanent / Long Term position- 2 years minimum.
Must work on-site at customer facility and report to main branch (Expeditors) as needed.
