Ocean and Air Exports Agent

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Ocean and Air Exports Agent in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will primarily be involved in the coordination and management of ocean and air export shipments, maintaining excellent customer service, and implementing systems for efficiency.Responsibilities Overseeing the coordination and management of ocean and air export shipments. Ensuring compliance with all export documentation to meet required regulations. Handling quoting, booking, and organizing pick up or inland transportation. Engaging with customers during the quoting and booking stages, ensuring excellent customer service. Monitoring and managing the performance standards of third-party carriers. Collaborating with customs agents, warehouse staff, shipping companies, and clients. Implementing systems and streamlining processes for increased efficiency. Keeping abreast of changes in export laws and regulations. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the delivery process. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required Familiarity with Avaya CMS is necessary Competence in using various Computer Programs is needed Experience with CRM is essential Knowledge of Epic Software is expected Ability to use About Time software is beneficial Comfortable with Answering Inbound Calls Able to Assist Customers effectively Familiar with Benefit Functions Experience with Billing Functions is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
