AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer Manager / HVAC Department for our Atlanta, Georgia office. Working with other members on developing High Performance HVAC designs for clients around the world. Hybrid (2 days onsite – Midtown, Atlanta)The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Manage team of mechanical engineers (HVAC & Plumbing)Mechanical and Plumbing design proposal developmentEnsure teams produce high quality designs on time and budget.Work with teams outside of eastern time zone on projectsDesign of mechanical systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including engineering related calculations and development of drawings.Develop system narrativesReview / Edit SpecificationsQA/QC of Mechanical designsTravel with team on site walks (design and construction phase) to gather data.Write professional basis of design reportsWork with architects, other engineering disciplines, and clientsPresent design options to clients
