Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Project Manager in the construction and contractor industry, located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves overseeing the financial and accounting aspects of technology projects, collaborating with various business units and the IT department.Responsibilities: Lead the financial tracking of technology projects to ensure budget management. Collaborate with the IT department and business units to facilitate project planning and budgeting. Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and the business planning and accounting departments. Utilize skills in CapEx, Amortization, Depreciation, and Trend Analysis to manage finances effectively. Apply knowledge of Company Revenue Recognition to ensure accurate financial reporting. Use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Hyperion Financial Reporting, OneStream, and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data. Requirements Proven experience in Budget Management within the construction/contractor industry. Proficiency in CapEx and understanding of its role within the financial framework of a project. Solid knowledge of amortization principles and their application in financial project management. Demonstrable understanding of depreciation and its impact on the financial health of a project. Ability to perform Trend Analysis to predict future financial outcomes and project performance. Expertise in Company Revenue Recognition and its influence on project financial reporting. Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for managing and reporting project financials. Proficiency in using Hyperion Financial Reporting for detailed financial analysis and reporting. Familiarity with OneStream for financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
