Performs work and tasks focused on business continuity planning and with a focus on providing governance, oversight and consultative expertise to supported Business Units (BUs). Supports enterprise and business unit compliance with all federal regulations (FFIEC) for BC related planning exercising and risk mitigation.LOCATION:Please note, to be considered for these roles, candidates must be in one of the following locations:

Beginning October 1st Truist teammates will be required to be in office 4 days per week.No Full Remote/Telecommute. No Relocation Assistance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Provides direction, effective challenge, and oversees risk management for business continuity recovery strategies with supported business units and teams.

Manages, facilitates and provides Business Continuity consultative leadership for planning, exercising and training supported for plan validation and compliance documentation.

Provides governance and/or analytical leadership to facilitate and ensure appropriate program adherence, status reporting, and escalation of key program risks.

Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact to ensure gaps are documented to address any pertinent Business Continuity issues.

Plan and execute cross-functional projects and/or process improvements to enhance Business Continuity processes.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners.

Stay abreast of emerging issues related to Risk Management including third party, business continuity, disaster recovery and other relevant disciplines and incorporate new learning into work processes.

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

7 years of financial services or BC/DR related management experience.

Possess and demonstrate BC/DR knowledge, aptitude, and leadership.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact with and influence management and business partners effectively.

Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making skills.

Adept with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications:

Accreditation in BC/DR recovery field; such as DRI International or Business Continuity Institute (BCI)

Master of Business Administration, Risk Management, or relevant Master's degree

Graduate of Leadership Development Program, Banking School, or equivalent industry training program

Experience with Corporate Enterprise Resilience risk programs or initiatives
