Position DescriptionThe EDI Specialist will be responsible for the daily submission of insurance claims for assigned clients. Corrects system edits and payor rejections. Works with supervisor and client leads to identify and resolve edit and rejection trends. Utilizes knowledge of the revenue cycle and patient accounts to ensure claims are submitted in a timely manner.
Position Requirements
- 1 year EDI experience or 2 years of accounts receivable/insurance follow-up experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
