The Director of Vendor and Operations Management is a role on the Global Real Estate and Workplace team and will report directly to the Senior Director of Operations, North America. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee diverse and dynamic vendors within North America and within the global headquarters (the AOC). The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and vendor management skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across the operations. Additionally, the candidate must have strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting to effectively manage vendor contracts and operational costs. Further the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the on-site food and beverage vendors as well as the daily operations of retail dining venues. This role ensures vendors maintain a safe workplace with a high level of quality, service delivery and experience.What You'll Do for Us:  Strategic Vendor Management: Compliance & Governance

Manage a diverse team of vendor partners and develop and implement vendor management strategies that align to operational goals.

Work closely with vendor partners to ensure proper compliance and corporate policy expectations are met, including safety.

Measure and optimize how on-site vendor partners ensure smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with service level agreements.

Leverage data, trends and insights to evaluate the performance of the operations identify and implement improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings and introduce innovation and technology where possible. 

Develop communication strategies and routines to set the right experience and expectations with vendors, stakeholders, network partners and employees.

Process & Budget Management

Identify process improvements to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings including governance routines.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee and guest satisfaction through food and beverage services, prioritizing sustainability efforts and opportunities across the operations.

Advise on customer satisfaction strategies to ensure quick resolutions and continuous improvements on how vendors deliver services.

Develop and implement strategic frameworks to manage overall operations within budgets.

Manage the overall dining and vending operations to within budget, ensuring cost control and experiences are balanced. 

Analyze financial reports and invoices, track performance metrics, and communicate analyzed data to leadership and team to achieve goals and recommend cost-saving measures and develop new ways to report and support operational budgets.

Partner with internal network teams to ensure cross-functional alignment to support the day-to-day experience and implement new initiatives to streamline budget / finance opportunities.

Advise on scheduling, inventory, procurement, and budget management for all food and beverage services. 

Partners with Procurement to lead RFPs and/or Targeted Negotiations for current services and new services as necessary.

Qualifications  & Requirements:  

Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field. 

Detailed-oriented with a focus on compliance and operational excellence.

Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control. 

Proven experience in vendor management, operations or similar.

Strong leadership, team and vendor management skills. 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. 

Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance is a nice to have.
