You will be an active and contributing member of the market leadership teams. You will report to the Americas HR Director and work as part of a management team of HR Business Partners who support Ramboll operations in the Americas (US, Brazil, Canada and Mexico). The HRBPs in the Americas also work collaboratively with the HR Centers of Excellence in the Americas and globally:  Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), HR Operations, Talent Management, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards. Global Market HR Directors will also be regular collaboration partners.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:As part of a committed and collaborative RAM HR Management team, help shape our people plans and initiatives, to deliver on both our Global and local strategic people focuses and priorities.As HR Business Partner for the various markets that operate in the Americas, actively contribute as part of the local market Leadership Team to develop these markets and the people within them.Ensure that the key HR focus areas/processes are being proactively managed, such as employee development, well-being, diversity and inclusion, talent review, succession planning, bonus and salary processes.Work with managers at all levels within all aspects of leadership and organizational development which requires the ability both to respond and support on day-to-day challenges as well as proposing solutions at a strategic/tactical level.Coaching, sparring, and discussing people, business and organizational challenges with senior leadership and among the HRBP team.Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe:It is important that you have a solid understanding of - and direct experience with - how HR can most effectively support and develop the business, and you will be a key player in helping us deliver on both our culture, values and transformational change ambitions.You are an experienced HR Business Partner, who can demonstrate how you have contributed to improving EDI, employee development, wellbeing and organizational change.  In addition, the role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent professional experience.  HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI) is strongly preferred.You have a demonstrated track record of supporting transformational initiatives, particularly around areas such as Employee Development, Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion.You are well versed with employment laws in the US and are able to effectively coach and counsel managers and employees on performance and other workplace issues.You are an effective facilitator and confident presenter and able to run training/education sessions both in person and virtually.You are a proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI tools and are able to effectively analyze and summarize HR-related data.You are experienced with HRIS processes and reporting (Ramboll uses Workday as its primary people-related system).Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Connect easily with people and build trusted relationships quickly; proven ability to effectively communicate and work with senior leaders and employees at all levels.Ability to act as a mediator and effectively influence people.Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong problem solving and conflict management/resolution skillsStrong business acumen and the ability to lead change.Strong detail orientation with the ability to research, analyze and organize information and data.Good judgement and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive informationAbility to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision and direction.  Comfortable working alone as well as collaborating with others.Must demonstrate strong professional acumen, integrity and sound ethical judgement along with positive interpersonal skillsTeam playerRambollBased in Copenhagen, Denmark, Ramboll is a leading engineering, architecture and environmental consultancy company.
