Position Overview: (2-3 sentences)The Coca-Cola's Summer Internship program is a 10-week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Communications & Engagement Intern will be part of the Office of the CIO and be responsible for assisting with strategy, planning and communications for the Digital & Technology Services organization at Coca-Cola for the office of the CIO.What You'll Do For UsJob Overview: The Communications and Planning Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) by assisting with strategic communication initiatives, project and event planning, and coordination of activities. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment, working closely with the CIO and various teams within the digital and technology services department. Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:  Help draft and edit communications to be disseminated within the organization including internal announcements, executive communications, campaigns, events and strategy.

Draft and edit internal and external communications and campaigns including emails, newsletters, and announcements.

Monitor internal communications channels and measure impact

Assist with execution of digital and physical events including but not limited to town halls, engagement events, and culture initiatives

Create knowledge management repository and communications toolkit to support teams within DTS

Assist in creating visual aids, including videos or infographics, to use in communications.

Conduct research on organizational effectiveness and identify growth opportunities for DTS

Education Requirements:Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (Communications, Business, Information Technology, etc.).and not graduating before December 2024.No sponsorship available for this role.Qualifications:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Basic understanding of project management concepts is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Functional Skills: (Top 3-5 critical skills)

Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate complex issues to showcase business results and outcomes

Adaptable Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, project requirements, and timelines.

Ability to draft clear, concise, and compelling written content for various purposes, including emails, newsletters, reports, and other communication materials.

Strong verbal communication skills to effectively convey information, present ideas, and engage with stakeholders.

Willingness to take initiative, contribute ideas and actively participate in the achievement of communication planning goals

Strong information design and creative design skills

Strong project management skills

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Passionate with an aptitude to quickly learn
