Join us!Position Summary:This role is responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for a product or technology solution for our on-Premise – Internal Cloud offering, defining and prioritizing deliverables in the product book of work, and articulating this to both business stakeholders and technology development teams. The Senior Technical Product Owner is experienced in the role of a Product Owner, expert of the product, and have a deep understanding of the business and/or technology domain, while also having in depth knowledge of Industry leading External Cloud providers and Internal Cloud solutions.Responsibilities:The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and directing product design and delivery to align with end user needs/wants for the bank's internal cloud solution. More specifically, the incumbent will define requirements/features user specification, as well as prioritizing technology team timelines and order of completion for the defined work, while also providing periodic updates of the work to senior management.

Reporting to the Hosting Services Technical Product Management Technical Executive.

Works with other technical product managers, stakeholders, and consumers to capture and vet requirements, product design, and defining business and engineering milestones.

Works across Global Technology engineers to gather customer requirements and identify the integration dependencies to operationalize product adoption.

Ensures that features and capabilities provide a similar Developer Experience as our External and other cloud products.

Define requirements for product development that represent technical delivery, controls enablement, and operational maturity.

Effectively communicate the product roadmap, key features, and delivery milestones to internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain the service and capability documentation and roadmaps.

Create and update Product Jira to support Agile routines.

Required Skills:

8-10+ years of IT professional experience

5 years' experience as a technical product owner​

Demonstrates a solid understanding of cloud technologies.

Experience working with cloud services providers (CSPs). AWS/Azure/GCP, etc.

Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to senior stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of agile development environment, preferably Product Management or Product Owner Experience

Experience in roles requiring advanced communication capabilities and interpersonal skills & the creation and delivery of succinct presentations to explain product vision and strategy

Advanced ability to use analytics, research and other methodologies to drive business decisions, diagnose problems and recommend action plans to remediate issues, inclusive of leveraging database level tools.

Ability to prioritize business needs and properly manage tasks among competing initiatives

Comfortable managing concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, matrix environment

Must possess excellent time-management, problem solving, and critical thinking capabilities

Excellent skills in communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation

Ability to identify, escalate and communicate issues and progress to senior management in an effective and succinct manner

Experienced in developing and executing user acceptance testing for technology changes

Desired Skills:

​ Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent working experience

On premise Hosting Experience or certifications including virtualization, storage, backup, and network.

Experience in agile development and tooling

Jira experience

Critical thinking

Self-management

Competency in implementing technology operating models for financial services technology.

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Microsoft Office experience
