Assistant Controller

Description We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Controller to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected candidate will be primarily tasked with managing various accounting functions, handling financial reports, and working with accounting software systems. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who have experience in the financial industry and are proficient in ERP solutions and other accounting software.Responsibilities: Manage the preparation of monthly financial reports Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, budget processes, and auditing Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions for efficient financial management Handle special projects requiring proficiency in Excel Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and standards Conduct background checks and manage daily bank transfers Assist in the preparation of year-end tax returns and profit sharing Contribute to the team by accomplishing related tasks as needed Operate on-site, providing hands-on assistance and expertise in financial matters.
