Accessibility Consultants at Deque also love their jobs because of the support systems in place.Deque experts regularly contribute to W3C Accessibility Working Groups and collectively hold more CPACC, WAS, & CPWA certifications issued by the IAAP than any accessibility testing company in the world.Position DescriptionYou will work on customer sites to install, upgrade, administer and maintain Deque’s products so that they are highly available, performant and secure. Our typical on-premise installation is a RedHat Linux environment where you perform system administration and application administration functions. You will coordinate with customer representatives and Deque support staff to ensure good customer service.You will need to either have or be able to obtain, within 60 days, a CompTIA Security+ CE and CompTIA Linux+ Certification. Other certifications may be required by our customer. You will also need to pass a Department of Defense background security check within the first six months of employment.Primary Responsibilities
Assist with operations, administration and troubleshooting of Deque applications running within the customer’s managed environment
Interface with customer to resolve technical issues involved with the operation of application servers hosting Deque products
Manage all aspects of customer-reported issues, including producing clear, concise problem reports that describe customer issues
Work with Deque teams to ensure the success of the customer with our products
Requirements
Possess (preferred), or the ability to acquire (60 days after hire), [d][e]CompTIA Security+ CE and CompTIA Linux+ Certification.
Possess (preferred) or the ability to acquire (soon after hire) DoD 8570 Level II Certification (IAT II) with support from Deque.[f][g]
5+ years of experience with maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting servers operating RedHat Linux in mission critical production environments
1+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
3+ years of experience with system enterprise network architectures, and topologies, the design, research, development, and implementation of network solutions, and the resolution of networking issues
Proven ability to drive customer issues to resolution and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze Linux configuration and proprietary applications to solve technical complex issues, offer alternative solutions, and make timely, logical decisions for problem resolution
Experience administering Linux servers third-party applications in a cloud environment (Azure and AWS)
Ability to work as part of team maintaining multiple customer deployments
Possession of excellent customer service skills, including on the phone, e-mail, chat, and in person
3+ years in administration / troubleshooting web based applications. Our product suite utilizes tools that allow for the scripting and playback of website actions. This process requires the individual to analyze a webpage’s flow and script those in JSON / YAML files. This requires experience with Chrome’s Developer tools.
3+ years experience with HTML/Javascript
HS diploma or GED
