Description Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Sandy Springs. Georgia About Us: Robert Half has a client in the hospitality industry that is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist.Position Overview : We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full cycle Accounts Payable, with proficiency in utilizing Concur software. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Perform full cycle Accounts Payable duties, including processing invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and efficiently.
Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and correspond with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding balances as necessary.
Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of Accounts Payable transactions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in full cycle Accounts Payable.
Proficiency in using Concur software for invoice processing and expense management.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
