Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:- Leads the high-level requirements development process.
- Supports the management of integrated (business, functional and technical) requirements and design including participation and oversight in defining enterprise-related processes and changes in alignment with industry.
- Supports development of strategic plans and technology solutions to meet business requirements across the enterprise.
- Creates UAT test plans, feature test strategies and environment needs.
- Proactively works with stakeholders to anticipate and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Addresses risks and implements contingency plans to resolve issues impacting business or IT objectives across the enterprise.
- Creates and runs complex queries using SQL and other tools.
- Collaborates with Product Owner.
- Performs Defect Metrics tracking.
- Ability to draft requirements from BCBSA Mandates
- Participates with Agile teams. Updates JIRA, writes User stories and collaborates with project team for scheduling and managing backlog
- Active participation and leadership of assigned responsibilities.
- Performs quality analysis and defines business requirements for all projects.
- Researches and resolves data questions and issues with reported data.
- Communicates with project leadership and peers to resolve questions to achieve compliance.
- Analyze data and summarize performance using summary statistical procedures.
- Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
- Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
- May make recommendations based upon data analysis
- Excellent communication skills required both verbally and in writing.
- Provides analysis of efficiencies related to system enhancements/automation.
- Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- . SQL query experience required.
- Tableau, Business Objects and EDWard experience preferred.
