Job Description: As a Land Surveyor at LandPro, you will play a crucial role in performing various surveying tasks, including Boundary/Topographic Surveys, Construction Surveying, and UAV Mapping. Your responsibilities will involve using maps, deeds, plats, and construction plans, operating survey instruments, and maintaining accurate records. The position offers a flexible and hybrid work environment, allowing you to operate from the base office, remote/home office, and multiple client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Boundary/Topographic Surveys, Construction Surveying, and UAV Mapping.
Read and interpret Maps, Deeds, Plats, and Construction Plans.
Operate and maintain survey instruments: Robotic Total Station, GNSS, UAV Systems, and Field/Office Computers.
Maintain accurate records, including field notes, sketches, daily site logs, QA/QC reports, and timesheets.
Qualifications And Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of Land Surveying experience and/or education (degree not required).
Demonstrated knowledge of Trimble, Carlson, Windows, Office, and/or DJI platforms.
Willingness to travel to multiple project sites (up to 75%) for 3-6 days at a time.
Valid Driver's License (must pass MVR background check).
Background screening with criminal history review.
Railroad and/or DOT experience preferred.
Compensation and Environment:
Competitive rate of pay based on qualifications and experience/education.
Compensation starts at $32.00 per hour with a yearly gross of $100,000 possible.
