Tax Guru LLC is looking for an Tax Preparers and Accountants to join our team on a seasonal basis. (February through April, annually.) In this role, you will be a valuable part of our tax season team and work with some of the best professionals in the business each year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during tax preparation process
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients
- Prepare and analyze corporate accounting records and financial statements
- Utilize technical accounting knowledge to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to ensure accuracy
- Utilize tax software to input and calculate tax information
- Stay up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain client relationships
Skills:
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate the value of tax services to potential clients
- Proficiency in using tax and other software, such as CCH Axcess, QuickBooks, Excel, Word or other similar programs
- Knowledge of financial concepts and the ability to analyze financial data
- Understanding the purpose of accounting and general ledger recording procedures.
- Excellent math skills for accurate calculations and analysis
- Performing accounting procedures and/or tax applications in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough and timely manner, including proposing journal entries to client general ledgers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
- Technical accounting knowledge to handle complex tax situations
