Bilingual Payroll Specialist– EDS Service Solutions
EDS Service Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Processor with prior experience processing in-house checks and proficiency in Excel! EDS is a nationwide, mid-sized staffing company that partners with the transportation industry. We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented Payroll Processing Specialist to join our team at our Corporate Office. This position supports corporate needs while assisting at off-site locations. It will serve as the key link between headquarters and assigned branches.
Position Summary:

Experience: 1-2+ years of payroll processing experience, including multistate payroll processing
Role Overview: The Payroll Processor is responsible for providing superior service and solutions to support our clients and branches' internal payroll departments. The role ensures efficient and accurate payroll processing. The Payroll Processor will use payroll software, such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Excel, email, and phone communication, to collaborate with branches, compiling employee labor, wage, deduction, and earning information to post payroll and prepare paychecks.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and process weekly payroll for 400+ employees nationwide.
Prepare, review, analyze, and import general ledger reports for posting payroll data into the accounting system.
Administer, track, and report all employee benefits and deductions.
Maintain time-off and vacation accrual reporting.
Accurately process payroll-related changes, including:
Wage and tax changes
Garnishments (tax levies, child support, student loans, etc.)
Changes in benefits, deductions, and fringes
Terminations and cancellation of benefits
Union employee pay/deduction changes
Prepare, maintain, and distribute weekly management reports.
Review payroll documentation for accuracy through audit reports and make necessary adjustments, obtaining the necessary approvals.
Prepare payoff/layoff checks and perform manual check entries in Workforce.
Process special payrolls, including annual bonus and year-end adjustment payrolls.
Calculate and remit the monthly workers' comp “self-report” audit.
Sort and distribute payroll checks to job sites and clients by packaging payroll reports and checks.
Research and resolve questions from managers and employees regarding payroll information, such as PTO and ESL, banking, garnishments, employment verification, workers' compensation, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, and other changes.
Oversee and manage daily Time & Attendance records for all employees, including:
Tracking, reviewing, and reporting regular and overtime hours by department.
Processing and tracking time-off requests.
Researching, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies, reporting to management as needed.
Experience and Education:
1-2+ years of payroll processing experience, including multistate payroll processing.
Familiarity with Excel, ADP, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and QuickBooks.
Profienceny with Excel

Pay: $50,000 - $55,000 per year base + Bonus
