Currently hiring a full-time Wastewater Operator. Day-to-day consists of sampling, reading gauges, running tests, solid watering, centrifuges, and operation of pumps and motors. Will also assist in preventative maintenance and repair of the pumps and motors as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adding chemicals, such as ammonia or chlorine, to disinfect water or other liquids
Inspecting equipment on a regular basis
Monitoring operating conditions, meters, and gauges
Collecting and testing water and sewage samples
Recording meter and gauge readings and operational data
Documenting and reporting test results
Operating equipment to purify and clarify water or to process or dispose of sewage
Cleaning and maintaining equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas
Follow U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations
Ensure safety standards are met
QUALIFICATIONS:
Wastewater License 1, 2, or 3 is strongly preferred
Must have wastewater experience within the past year
Ability to work the rotating shift
o 4 days on / 4 days off and will rotate between 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am
