Part-time Job AnnouncementPosition: Part-time Professional Laboratory Assistant for EMTLocation: Athens CampusDepartment: Division of Life Sciences & Public SafetyReports to: Divisional Academic DeanSalary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.Deadline to Apply: November 11, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.Responsibilities:

Assist faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance, and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction.

Tutor or mentor students.

Clean labs as needed.

Obtain materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials.

Minimum Qualifications: Current licensure as an AEMT, paramedic, RN, or PA in the State of Georgia with at least one (1) year experience in advanced life support pre-hospital or emergency care.Preferred Qualifications:

Current Instructor certification in BLS.

Current certifications in PHTLS and EMS Instructor or Instructor/Coordinator AEMT or Paramedic.
