Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to be part of our service industry team in Athens, Tennessee. This role involves managing the general ledger, supporting multiple businesses, and resolving complexities in our financial records. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of intercompany transactions.Responsibilities: Manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date Provide support for eight businesses, addressing their specific bookkeeping needs Clean up existing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance Understand and manage the intricacies of intercompany transactions Conduct thorough research to trace back dollars for intercompany transactions Reconcile accounts periodically to ensure accuracy of financial information Prepare for the fiscal year end, which concludes on August 31stRequirements Proficiency in General Ledger management and maintenance Experience with Intercompany Transactions Strong research skills for financial data analysis High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration Demonstrated ethical behavior in handling sensitive financial informationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
