A System Software Engineer is needed in Alpharetta GA. Duties include:Perform coding, unit testing, code reviews and design reviews; Write unit test cases and test using JUnit and Mockito. Develop and design Micro Services using Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring AOP, Spring Security, Dependency Injection and Spring JPA with Oracle and Cassandra Databases; Develop secure services with OAuth authentication and authorization with JWT, Spring Security, RESTful web services; Work on the Cassandra data model access patterns in all APIs; Deploy, manage applications with Cassandra and create database instances of PostgreSQL in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF); Work with API Management product of Apigee edge. Configure various levels of Dev, QA; Prod environment Manifest.yml files in PCF. Implement new message retry mechanism using Apache Kafka, Zuul proxy as the API gateway and Hystrix circuit breaker to avoid loss of messages; Enhance DEEP libraries with new mechanism like Event engine and Event audit in consumer and producer APIs; Use JMeter to performance test server-side application and services; Follow Agile methodology with RALLY; Analyze log files using PCF console; Bind, Unbind and Restage of DB service instances from PCF; Work on Redis caching to improve Predix Asset Queries; Use Amazon Web Services S3 data storage and AWS SDK for Java. Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent + 1 year experience in job offered or related is required. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted. Full Time. Travel involved to unanticipated client locations within US. 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
