- Experience for a Senior Java developer minimum of 6 years experience to design, development, and support.
- Experience with Microservices development environment is preferred with hands-on experience with Docker
- Experience working in Cloud Platform such as AWS is highly desired
- Experience using NoSQL databases, Cassandra experience would be an added advantage Experience in any message queue systems is required, Kafka/Zookeeper experience would be an added advantage
- Experience with front-end services is Nginx experience would be an added advantage Experience in writing unit, functional and integration tests using Unit Testing frameworks
- Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
- Build and develop tools for Infrastructure components like Cassandra/Kafka and NoSQL Build from the ground up reliable infrastructure services in AWS to deliver highly available and scalable services.
- Use native AWS infrastructure services such as EC2, EBS, Auto Scaling, Cloudwatch, etc.
- Develop tools and automation scripts for Kubernetes/EKS Build and Develop engineering automation and productivity tools to streamline and scale applications in the production environment.
- Work with a team of peers who are smart, professional, pull their own weight, and share a passion for what they’re creating.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations. A few examples of technologies we work with on a daily basis: Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, Redis, MySQL & Postgres, Ansible.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
