The successful candidate will lead their team in ensuring that systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software life cycle development with a track record of success in improving system reliability, performance, and availability.Key Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with their team, customers and other development teams to ensure that all applications are aligned to the company’s long-term deployment and technology goals.

Enable their team to develop and implement strategies for application improvement

Enable their team to improve system reliability, scalability, and efficiency collaboratively with the broader organization.

Participate in postmortems for all services and use the insights to identifyteam focus areas.

Collaborate with their team to identify architecture optimizations that improve cost and/or reliability and execute collaboratively with service owners.

Develop and maintain metrics for measuring the effectiveness of their team and use these metrics to drive improvement and optimize processes.

Build a culture of driving customer-focused results.

Qualifications:

Managed IT or Software Development teams.

Proven ability to grow and develop team members.

Creates a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, and customer focus.

Strong technical background, understating of software applications and modern software delivery practices.

Excellent collaborator, excited and looking forward to building bridges and connections broadly.

Thrives in ambiguous situations.

Experience: 8+ years experience in technology roleEducation: Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer or Data Analytics nanodegreeThis position is only available in Plano, TX or Alpharetta, GAOur Assoc Director-Technology II earns between $174,100.00-$261,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
