Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Emergency Vehicle manufacturer in Winter Park is seeking qualified candidates for Maintenance Technician positions for 1st and 2nd shift. This role will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment and machinery such as Plasma Machines, CNC, and Press Brake equipment. Also, will perform various aspects of building maintenance, machinery maintenance and record keeping.Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance TechnicianType: PermanentLocation: Winter Park, FLPay: $23.00 - 27.00/hr (depending on experience)What’s the Job? Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment, machinery, and tools. Maintain all equipment associated with the production process including, but not limited to: CNC Router, Edgebander, Omal Doweler, Paint Booths and associated ovens, press brake, shears, CNC punch press, CNC mill, CNC saws, table saws, band saws, horizontal/vertical sanders, vacuum form machine, and drill presses. Troubleshoot and correct mechanical and electrical problems. Run air and power hand tools in performing assigned repairs. Recognize and resolve unsafe conditions when performing repairs on machinery. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and machine operation manuals.What’s Needed? 3 - 5 years of experience with maintenance of manufacturing equipment/machinery Forklift and Scissor lift license required. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, assembly drawing, schematics and other written or verbal instructions presented in English. Ability to utilize linear and other types of measuring devices effectively. Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.What’s in it for me?
