Cypress Care Center is currently hiring Personal Care Attendants to Assist with Care.
This is a great opportunity of growth into a CNA position!
Upon completion of a paid training course provided at and by the facility the PCA will be required to perform the following:
Administer personal care to residents.
Respond to a variety of resident needs including answering call lights, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, monitoring and recording food intake and output, transporting via wheel chair, assisting with ambulation in a safe manner.
General housekeeping such as changing linens and room organization.
Turning, re positioning and providing proper body alignment to prevent pressure sores and to aide in comfort of resident.
Attendants will assist and support professional nurses as requested.
Training and Experience:Minimum 18 years of age.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, and co-workers.
Successful completion of facility provided PCA training program.
General Requirements:Capable of providing excellent customer service and personal care to residents.
Support co-workers by providing assistance as need or requested within the scope of your training.
Report in any accidents or incidents involving residents, staff, or visitors to a Nurse or member of the Management team immediately.
Able to work independently or with peers in order to provide the best care for our residents.
Must be available to work an eight hour shift unless otherwise designated by a supervisor.
The pay rate for this position is $9.75/hr
