Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders to our customers. The driver will be responsible for loading orders at our warehouse, delivering them along a pre-determined route, and maintaining an organized schedule.
This is a Monday - Friday role, 8am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently, ensuring correct box counts and securing the cargo.
Deliver orders following the assigned routes and schedules.
Maintain an organized route to optimize delivery times.
Frequently climb up and down the delivery vehicle and handle boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, with frequent handling of 25 lb boxes.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of the vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch/management on delivery progress and any issues encountered.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequent climbing in and out of a delivery van.
Experience in a delivery role is preferred but not required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
