Local company with 30 plus trucks is looking for an in house mechanic with experience to work on Gas, Diesel trucks and equipment. We have a shop and big facility located in Broward County. We need a Full time experienced mechanic to work MON-FRI 7am to 5pm. Saturdays will only be emergencies if something needs to be done. We will pay $1500 a week to start. You will be in charge of keeping parts inventory, milage tracking on trucks and tool inventory. Must have experience diagnosing and fixing truck issues. We are a septic truck company, must have some knowledge on suction pumps etc and not be afraid to smell septic etc.

9 Small Diesel Pump Trucks
2 Small Excavators
2 Bobcats
Job will consist of Keeping all trucks and equipment maintained on a regular basis with standard PMs. Diagnosing issues and repairing. Fixing what ever comes up on a daily basis. When you run 30 plus trucks there's something everyday.
We are not looking for a pre-madona person that thinks he's a Doctor. We are looking for a Mechanic that always has dirty hands. There is work everyday all day. We are a legitimate company well funded and looking for someone long term to grow with us. You will be your own boss. You will have your own covered work area, desk and computer etc. We are looking for a mechanic that will also assist in building out the dept. purchasing necessary tools we may not have to get the job done more efficient.
