We need an office clerk for our automotive business. We're located in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale since 1977. You will gain hands-on experience and perform various office tasks while delivering outstanding service with a smile.
Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and schedule service appointments
Assist with checking customers in and out, taking payments
Address customers with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with family-business values
Assist the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts, and other errands as needed
Maintain files, checklists, and scan documents
Assist other team members with clerical tasks such as special projects and filing paperwork
Other office and clerical duties as needed
Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and customers
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment at times
Preferred Qualifications
Prior successful customer service experience
Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
Past experience with Ebay a plus
Automotive service center or dealership office experience is a plus, but not required.
