We are seeking an experienced SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Operator to join our client in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with SMT assembly processes, operating and maintaining SMT equipment, and ensuring the production of high-quality electronic circuit boards.
Location: Hialeah Gardens
Pay Rate: $18HR
Schedule: 7AM - 4PM, Monday - Friday
SMT Operator Responsibilities:
Set up and operate SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens.
Load and unload components, ensuring proper alignment and placement.
Perform machine calibrations and adjustments as needed.
Conduct visual and automated inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform regular quality checks throughout the production process.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including setup, operation, and maintenance logs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
SMT Operator Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating SMT equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with SMT machinery and processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.
