Paralegal/Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:

At Debt Consultants Group, we approach financial solutions differently to meet the needs of our clients. As a Paralegal/Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team with settlement negotiations. This position requires strong multi-tasking skills, data management skills, assertive negotiation skills, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. You will be supported by a wonderful team of attorneys and management.

General Responsibilities & Job Duties:

Prepare and deliver electronic filings and statements to clients.

Work with and assist attorneys with administrative tasks.

Negotiate settlements with MCA cash advances to secure financial relief for our clients.

Communicate professionally with opposing counsel and other interested parties to provide updates and gather necessary information.

Perform daily data entry into the company's CRM platform and maintain up-to-date client files.

Maintain organized client files, track important deadlines, and ensure that all documentation is complete.

Assist attorneys and paralegals with a variety of administrative tasks.

Gather relevant information to assist in preparing for negotiations and drafting legal documents.

Note: This position is based in Miami, Florida, and is not a remote position.

Competencies Requirements:

Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, across all levels of the organization. Present information to management and attorneys to ensure clarity and understanding.

CRM Database: Utilize CRM databases to extract insights, generate reports, and analyze client data.

Organization: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Software proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Adobe PDFs for editing and organization.

Self-Motivation: Self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

Paralegal Experience (Minimum 1 year or equivalent education)

Strong Negotiations skills are a plus

Note: This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Compensation:

The payment range for this position may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and additional responsibilities.

Starting pay will begin at $25 per hour.
