job title: Warehouse Shipping Clerk
Warehouse shipping/receiving employee needed for marine manufacturer in Hallandale. This position is responsible for preparing and processing shipments, receiving facility deliveries and non-skilled labor tasks.
Qualifications:
Previous shipping/receiving experience required
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Must be reliable and have transportation
Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and assist departments when needed
Must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to multitask
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
Picking, packing, and shipping items timely and accurately daily
Receiving merchandise
Organizing inventory
Building pallets
Keeping work space neat at all times
Assisting in maintaining good housekeeping in and around warehouse
Routes items to internal departments
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Assists with facilities maintenance as needed
