REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate
Ability to provide detailed reports in English
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a background check
Applicant must have their own vehicle and will be given a route daily (Compensation for traveling will be provided)
Owning basic hand tools is required
Detail oriented
Eager to learn new information
Friendly customer service
Knowing when to ask questions and reach out for assistance from management or manufacturers
Patience when handling customers and manufacturers
Ability to read an exploded diagram
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Show up on time every day and communicate with management for schedule.
Maintain a professional appearance which includes a black shirt, pants, and boots.
Perform diagnosis, repairs, and preventive maintenance on residential and commercial fitness equipment.
Perform service in a timely manner.
Communicate with Service Coordinator, Operations Manager and/or Administrator to facilitate accurate and timely completion of work orders.
Type of equipment we service treadmills, ellipticals, climbers, recumbent bikes, single/multi-stack weight systems, etc.
Maintain a technical proficiency level with old and new equipment through manufacturer training, reading manuals, networking with other service technicians and online training videos.
WORKING CONDITION:
Bending, heavy lifting, squatting, standing, repetitive movements and kneeling is necessary to deliver, install, service and repair fitness equipment in all types of residential and gym environments. Employee begins on a ninety (90) day probationary period. Some locations of service include schools, state institutions, government facilities and residential homes.
