Job description
We are a golf cart dealership hiring an in-house technician/ mechanic. Seeking a skilled, experienced mechanic with a service & repair work background.
Ability and interest to operate in a professional Service department, execute the work assigned under the direction of the Service manager, and understanding of a typical service-shop’s Billable hours environment.
Solid communication skills in English, time management skills, detail oriented with paper work, self- motivated and a team player. Willing to work Saturdays from time to time if needed.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced and fun environment. Interested in learning new skills.
Skills in customer service, politeness, clean appearance, and professionalism required. Positive outlook is a must.
Desire to work in a small business. Part of role is general helping in the service shop, moving carts around, loading/unloading trucks and doing the other various activities in running a golf cart services business & yard.
Ability and understanding of both gas engines and electric motors. Experience in electrical wiring and batteries a plus.
Small gas engine experience or other automobile mechanical experience a plus.
Must be willing to drive a service truck, as a back-up when needed, to cover for other team members on vacation or out sick.
Applicant must have their own basic mechanics tools for their use (drill, impact, sockets, wrenches, etc).
Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 80lbs for battery work or larger golf cart parts.

8:30-5:30PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
8 hour shift
