Avalon Estates, a gated community in Boynton Beach, is currently seeking an individual reporting to our maintenance supervisor for general maintenance work . This is a part time position with 20-30 hours per week. Hours are flexible between 8 am and 4 pm.
General duties include light maintenance, record keeping, setting up tables and chairs for community events, escorting on site vendors and executing a variety of tasks within our buildings and grounds.
Basic requirements and skills include previous experience as a general helper, familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools, power washing equipment, painting, simple electrical, plumbing and construction tasks.
Additionally the ideal candidate will have good communication skills, the ability to speak, read and write English, be able to prioritize work, take direction and a valid drivers license.
