Our family is in search of a kind and responsible caregiver, aged 18-35, to help provide support for our very sweet and beloved 79-year-old mother & wife who has memory challenges. Additionally, we seek assistance with light housekeeping and meal preparation, helping to ease the load on our family's shoulders. This is a part-time position, about two to three times per week.

About Our Loved One:
'Mom' is warm, affectionate and will often find her in a kid-like playful mood. She is originally from Spain. Adores family, pets and children.
Because of her memory she has become limited to simple, light-hearted conversations, but continues to enjoy short visits throughout the day where she can chat in either English or Spanish.
About You:
Previous caregiving experience helpful, but not essential – we will provide training. We value a warm and empathetic attitude above all else. Must be a good communicator to keep family informed about Mom's well-being and be open to receiving feedback and tips on care. Flexible and able to adapt to new family setting. Enthusiastic to contribute to a joyful and supportive home care environment.
Responsibilities include:
help provide companionship & emotional support
use of sound judgment with emphasis on safety first
assisting with personal hygiene needs
meal preparation
light housekeeping and small tasks around the house
help us create joyful and supportive home care environment
keep 'Mom' smiling and out of trouble : )
While not essential, a plus are candidates who:
are female, aged 18-26 (a granddaughter-like age : )
speak Spanish
Location: Delray Beach (west side, near turnpike)
Hours Available: 8-16 hours per week
Days & Hours:
We can offer flexibility in scheduling, to accommodate your availability. Times available are Monday through Saturday, with morning and afternoon options. We prefer shorter shifts (4 hours), but happy to hear what fits best to your schedule.
Compensation: $22 to $25 per hour
