Hands-on Care Needed For My Father
Looking for a caregiver for my father who lives in an assisted living apartment. You must have experience transferring someone who cannot stand or walk on their own (He is 124 pounds. approx. 5' 8" tall). We do not use a hoyer or gait belt. You will be working with another caregiver from 12:00noon-4p each day. Meals are provided by the facility and you will not need to take him to Doctor's appointments or ever transport him in a car. The shifts we have available are: Saturday 11a- 10p, Sunday 11a-5p.
You must be a HHA or CNA and have a clean background check.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED YOU MUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS BELOW.
1. Tell me about your experience with one person transferring without a Hoyer or Gait Belt.
2. Give me a description of how you do one person transfers.
2. Let me know what days you are interested in. Ideally we want all days taken by one person but open to splitting them.
I will only respond to those that answer the above. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Best,
Elizabeth
