Seeking a strong prep cook to join the prep team for this high volume upscale American sports bar in downtown Delray Beach. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in extensive prep and have an understanding of proper kitchen sanitation and cleanliness.
MUST BE ABLE TO :
Know and understand all cooking techniques
Have an understanding of making sauces, vinaigrettes, roasting, steaming, sautéing, etc
Be able to work as a team to execute the prep tasks
Be organized in sorting deliveries, arranging the prep, keeping the walk in fridge organized, etc
Spanish speaking candidates are preferred
THIS IS A COOKING PREP POSITION which is the most important position in this kitchen.
THIS IS NOT A VEGETABLE CHOPPING POSITION
