QualificationsJob Details and Qualifications As aCNA Patient Care Tech, and under the supervision of the nursing staff, you will provide compassionate personal and clinical care to patients. In collaboration with the hospital staff, the CNA plays a vital role in the recovery process for critically ill and medically complex patients. You will participate as an active member of the healthcare team to elevate the patient experience. Location

Shift Details

Full-Time Employee will work three 12-hour shifts.

Monday, Thursday,andSaturday.

7:00am - 7:00pm

Position Overview

Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

With professionalism, integrity, and compassion, you will support your team and together represent Onsight Healthcare throughout the facility.

Role may include assignments in Emergency Room or Behavioral Health Units.

While following all required policies to avoid transmission of illness by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves, you will assist with full range of daily patient care. From point of admission, transfer, and discharge of patients. This includes, but not limited to, patient hygiene, mobility, hydration, and helping meet dietary/nutritional needs.

Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rates, and blood glucose.

Perform CHG bath as directed.

Participates in handoff report and purposeful hourly rounds of patients.

Provide direct observation of patients as directed by the nursing plan of care and under the supervision of the nursing staff and nursing supervisor.

Assist nursing staff in creating, maintaining, and providing a safe environment.

Alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress, condition, and/or any equipment malfunction.

Adhere to confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in the healthcare facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.

Attend required healthcare facility training and orientation programs including completing a Crisis Prevention and Intervention Certification.

Position Requirements

At least 19 years of age

BLS certification

CNA certification in the state of Florida is required.

Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical trauma center environment

Must have one-year experience with acute and direct patient care.

Ability to pass all onboarding screening processes, including all healthcare facility's pre-assignments and medical requirements.

Ability to adequately operate apps/technology on a tablet and learn new software that may have to be applied to the daily tasks for this role.

Safely and physically able to effectively handle/maneuver equipment and/or patients throughout site.

Role requires continuous physical engagement including walking, standing, and ambulating of patients.

Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude in fast-paced sometimes stressful environment.

Works well independently and as part of a team.

Ability to effectively build relationships with hospital staff, patients, guests, and your team members.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
