Job description:
Seeking an experienced Foreman who is able to run a small trim / framing crew. You will be required to be a team leader and team motivator. We specialize in mostly remodeling on high end custom homes. Job duties consist of: custom trim installation, doors, windows, framing, demo of kitchens, baths, and sometimes full interiors. Someone who is physically fit with excellent manual dexterity and has the ability to read blueprints and follow directions. You should also be safety-conscious and have good organizational abilities such as, planning, execution, and evaluation of construction projects which may include anything from minor site preparation to constructing entire buildings.
Requirements:
Must be able to lead (by example) a crew without direction
Must hold a valid FL Driver’s license (Required)
Must be an honest person with integrity who can perform quality work
Must have excellent customer service/ communication skills
Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check, all employees are subject to testing
Must have a reliable transportation
Must have knowledge in general construction as may be required to take on other duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Lead a crew of 2-5 employees
Install windows & doors to high standards with finish trim work
Cabinetry Installation, Crown moldings & trim work
Interior and exterior framing
Demo
Provide a first-class experience to all customers by being on time
Perform installations in a timely manner while keeping up with high quality workmanship
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Trim Carpentry & Door Installation (minimum of 3 years)
Other construction knowledge is essential
Familiar with tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to work well in teams
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour with paid one week vacation after first year
