Weekend and Evening Maintenance Worker

Pay: Negotiable, $17 to $21 hourly based on experience
Hours: Part-time, 20 to 30 hours per week
Job Summary:
Join our team as a part-time maintenance worker responsible for both interior and exterior building maintenance tasks. This role involves interior and exterior painting, pressure washing, window cleaning, and other duties to ensure the upkeep of commercial properties. Additionally, you'll provide evening porter services, including trash removal, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
A. Assist other Maintenance Technicians as needed or work independently when required.
B. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as necessary.
C. Work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, or nights, to fulfill duties as required.
D. Participate in the department's on-call schedule as needed.
E. Follow work flow processes as instructed by management.
F. Prepare and smooth surfaces, remove old paint, and match paint colors accurately. Repair damaged drywall as needed.
G. Pressure wash surfaces safely, using appropriate cleaning solutions, and maintain pressure washing equipment in good condition.
H. Perform interior light maintenance cleaning tasks, including dusting, window blind cleaning, baseboard cleaning, window cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming carpets, and mopping tiled floors.
I. Punctuality is crucial; arrive on time for shifts and complete shift objectives efficiently.
