We are seeking to have a homemaker aide visit our mother's home in Fort Pierce, Florida. Ginger is 74 years old and has health issues that require additional support.
She is warm-hearted, easy going, and friendly. At times, she can be quietly anxious and overwhelmed by remembering to take medications and to keep up with doctor's appointments. My sister and I are working to set systems in place that can help her to organize her life (including prepackaging of medications).
While we create these systems, we would like a homemaker aide who can stop by twice a week to help with light housekeeping, check-ins with a Google Calendar to see what appointments are coming up for the day or week, and other small tasks that the homemaker and Ginger decide need to be done.
We are hoping for someone who can provide this aid for $17/hour for one 2-hour shift a week.
