We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide for a private home/ private duty, one-on-one position. This role involves providing care for a 53 year old male patient with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) who is NPO (nothing by mouth) and receives tube feedings. We are happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and committed to providing excellent care.
We're hiring for the following shifts:
Sunday: 9 AM - 5 PM
Tuesday: 9 AM - 5 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM - 5 PM
Thursday: 9 AM - 5 PM
What You'll Be Doing (Total Patient Care):
Assisting with transfers in and out of bed using a Hoyer lift.
Administering medications every two hours.
Repositioning the patient in bed every two hours to ensure comfort and prevent pressure sores.
Helping the patient into and out of his wheelchair.
Performing Foley catheter care.
Managing suprapubic catheter care.
Assisting with gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care and tube feedings.
Managing colostomy bag care.
Assisting with walks around the neighborhood when weather permits.
Accompanying the patient and his father to doctor appointments in a wheelchair-accessible van.
Daily charting of patient care and observations.

Reliable and committed to consistent care.
Able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Possesses a valid driver's license and privilege to drive.
